In the era of vaping, smoking is just wrong!
Are you a smoker? And if your answer is "yes" my next question is "why?" I smoked for 10 years (a freaking decade!!!) and never thought I could give up those nasty, expenive, toxic, little sticks that were keeping me busy during my working breaks, keeping me company in the morningw hile i had my first coffee and making time go faster while stuck in traffic. However, one day, my husband came home with a device called electronic cigarette and he was smart enough to get me the perfect liquid as well and I never had a cigarette ever since. However there is a certain discipline that needs to be followed if you want to be a succesful quitter.
1. So you decided to quit smoking which basically is a life saving decision. CONGRATULATIONS! First thing to be done now is cleaning. Cleaning your bag, your pockets, your drawers, your ashtray, every single place you might keep cigarettes at. The worst thing that can happen is to find cigarettes by mistake and be tempted to light one. You might as well do a general cleaning in your house. We know how smoking smell can stay for days in your clothes and your furniture. So, a life change like this one starts with cleaning the mess left by your ex vice.
2. Choose the right vape pen or e-cig. Before you actually go shopping, do some research. The internet is full of informationf for aspirant vapers and if that doesn't satisfy your curiosity, you can visit a vape shop and try some devices as well as different e-liquids. 3. Treat your e-cig or vap pen as your cellphone. Literally. If you lose it, you will most likely go back to your regular cigarettes until you get a new one and that is never a good change of terms. So keep it close to your personal items such as cell phone or wallet, that way you have it handy when you need it the most.
4. Media will try to talk you into how dangerous electronic cigarettes are. Don't fall for it! Really, let's think about this: how can electronic cigarette be more dangerous than a traditional cigarette if first of all it doesn't put any smoke in your body? There is no burning, no toxic chemicals put in your lungs. Instead of 4000 chemichals that can be found in normal cigarettes, e-liquids have only 3 basic components: Propylene Glycol or Vegetable Glycerin, Nicotine (optional), flavorings .
5.After you are all set with your new e-cig, proper e-liquid and delicious flavor, all you need to do is to NOT go back to smoking. Most likely after the first two days of using your new equipment, you will not even be tempted to try cigarettes again and you will even be against them. I for instance, can't even stand the smell when someone else is smoking around me.
